In the Community
Being an active part of our local community is important to us.
As well as providing high quality, personalised care to people living in their own homes, we’re also regularly out-and-about in our local area.
What community engagement initiatives do we run?
- Free Dementia Awareness Training – we provide free dementia awareness training sessions for the public, businesses and local organisations like charities and faith groups. In partnership with the Alzheimers’ Society, we’re committed to creating a dementia-friendly community where everyone feels valued and included
- Our Community Stall – we can be regularly found in high streets, community cafes and libraries with our Community Stall. Offering information and advice on what services we provide, we often meet people who want to find out more about the benefits of care-at-home as opposed to residential care.
- Our Pop-Up Jobs Stall – we’re committed to providing high quality, well-paid jobs to people living in our local area. On a weekly basis, our jobs stall with be out in the community in church foyers, jobs centres and shopping malls. We’re keen to raise awareness of the benefits of a career in care, so our jobs stall allows us to do just that.
